Jin honored to the tune of $100,000
Young Investigator Award reflects music industry support for sarcoma research
Chunlei Jin, a postdoctoral fellow in Pediatrics-Research, has received the T.J. Martell Foundation-Global Action Platform Young Investigator Award for Sarcoma Research. The $100,000 award was presented at the November Global Action Summit in Nashville, Tenn.
The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer & AIDS Research, founded in 1975 by music industry executive Tony Martell and colleagues and headquartered in New York, has raised more than $260 million to date. Celebrating the future role of young scientists and medical specialists, the award recognizes Jin’s work in studying the mechanisms by which osteosarcoma metastasizes.
