This morning, Banner Health and M D Anderson Cancer Center announced the creation of the MD Anderson Banner Cancer Center. The initiative joins Arizona's leading provider of health care and the nation's leading cancer center to give patients and their families an unprecedented level of cancer care in Arizona.
The groundbreaking for the MD Anderson Banner Cancer Center outpatient center is currently planned for late this year or early next year. The facility, which is scheduled to open late in 2011, will be anchored by a 120,000-square-foot cancer outpatient center and supported by 76 patient beds on two floors inside of Banner Gateway.
MD Anderson Banner Cancer Center represents MD Anderson's most comprehensive extension of its patient care outside of Houston.
