Welcome to the Single Cell Genomics Core (SCGC).
Welcome to the Single Cell Genomics Core (SCGC).
This core supports single cell sequencing projects, including DNA single cell sequencing protocols developed in the Navin Lab, such as Arc-well for single cell DNA-seq from FFPE preserved tissues (Wang et al. Cell 2023) and ATC-Seq (Minussi et al. Nature 2021). The core is directed by Nicholas Navin, Ph.D., and consists of four main components:
- Tissue dissociation facility (shadowing, training and protocols are available)
- Technologies and assays (see services)
- Next-generation sequencing (with ATGC)
- Data pre-processing and analysis consults (with BCB)
The SCGC offers core services, allowing users to submit samples, run assays and return datasets with preprocessed data and quality control reports per samples. Another focus of SCGC is training and education activities, including the Texas Single Cell (TXSC) weekly seminar series and periodic single cell genomics data analysis workshops.
Due to high demand, we will be unable to accept samples without 48 hours of prior notice. If you have an on-going project, please contact Tuan Tran. New projects require a pre-meeting consult with Dr. Nicholas Navin.
