Boot Walk raises $2 million for cancer research, education and prevention

MD Anderson’s Nov. 9 Boot Walk to End Cancer® in the Texas Medical Center raised more than $2.2 million. Corporate sponsors, including presenting sponsor LyondellBasell, donors, individual and team fundraisers and 200 volunteers helped make the fourth annual event a huge success. A Walmart campaign held last summer throughout stores in Houston and surrounding areas raised $1 million toward the event total.
