Integrative Medicine Center

Cancer is one of the biggest challenges a person can face. Worries about the future and the physical toll of care can cause patients to suffer both physically and emotionally. The Integrative Medicine Center is here to help.

The center offers therapies that reduce patients’ stress and anxiety and improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being. In consultation with your primary care center team, we will design a comprehensive approach to your cancer care.

For those who want to learn more about complementary and integrative medicine, we publish a regular newsletter and offer an online audio and video library. The library includes introductions and talks about different therapies as well as, meditation sessions, music therapy sessions and practices.

Group classes

The Integrative Medicine Center offers free group classes to MD Anderson patients and caregivers. All classes are being conducted online at this time.

To register for a group class, call the center at 832-750-3685. After registering, patients must fill out a liability waiver and telemedicine consent form in MyChart at least 48 hours before their first scheduled class. The instructor will email a link to the class within 24 hours of its start time. The weekly class schedule is:
