- Radiation Therapy and Cancer Treatment Center
MD Anderson's Radiation Treatment Center is the most comprehensive facility of its kind in the world. Our tools and expertise allow us to offer patients the most effective and advanced radiation treatments available, including new therapies that reduce or eliminate some of the side effects of radiation treatment.
This care is provided by recognized leaders in the field of radiation oncology. Our team of expert radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and physicists are committed to the quality of our care. We hold the prestigious American College of Radiology (ACR) and American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) accreditations recognizing highest quality radiation oncology services.
Our physicians focus on treating specific types of cancer. This gives them an incredible amount of knowledge to draw upon when building treatment plans. And through our multidisciplinary approach, teams of experts review cases in daily meetings to ensure patients get the best possible care.
We understand how much patients value their time, so we offer flexible scheduling to accommodate our patients’ daily treatment needs.
Most patients are referred to the Radiation Treatment Center by another MD Anderson care center. We also accept patient self-referrals and external physician referrals.
