Curriculum
The program will provide a degree to Health Care Disparities, Diversity and Advocacy majors and can be a degree completion program for students who have academic and/or professional experience in a health care related field. The degree is offered in a non-traditional format that combines on-line courses with hybrid preceptorships. The content is delivered online, including synchronous interactions with the faculty during class meetings and asynchronous delivered class content. Approximately 10% of the content is gained through institutional and community preceptorships.
Graduates can use this education to develop professional growth in their clinical expertise or seek employment in health care disparities, diversity or patient advocacy.
