The practice of medical imaging is undergoing rapid change in recent years due to technological changes higher workload, workforce shortage, and globalization in healthcare. Imaging leaders are required to address the healthcare organization personnel, facility and system needs
The Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Imaging with an emphasis in Management is designed for radiologic science professionals who are aspiring to managerial leadership positions in medical imaging or other healthcare related organizations.
Diagnostic Imaging Management emphasis is an advanced area for are licensed technologists transitioning into management. The emphasis combines human resources, asset management, fiscal management, operations management and communication
The emphasis is part of a three-year Diagnostic Imaging Radiography track or a one-year pre-certified track leading to the Bachelor of Science degree. The program’s flexible schedule allows students to complete their degree in as little as 12 months (full time) or 24 months (part time). 100% of the content is delivered in a hybrid format. Students continuing the three-year track at the senior level take 36 semester credit hours (SCH) towards their degree during their final year.
Students entering the one-year track at the senior level take 41 SCH towards their degree.
The semester-by-semester schedules include all courses needed to graduate, but the sequences are subject to change.
