Leave Guide
MD Anderson is proud to provide a generous leave program to support the work-life balance of our employees.
Most information provided in the Leave Guide applies to benefits eligible classified employees, administrative staff and faculty. Leave information specific to benefits eligible trainees appointed by the Office of Research Trainee Programs (ORTP) and Office of Graduate Medical Education (OGME) is available on the MD Anderson intranet.
State agencies, including MD Anderson, must submit reports of employee leave utilization to the Texas State Auditor's Office, Texas State Comptroller's Office, the Legislative Budget Board and other state agencies.1
Outside of the leave designated by the state and federal legislatures, MD Anderson may implement other administrative rules for the accounting and use of the leaves contained within the Leave Guide.
