MD Anderson is dedicated to protecting the rights, welfare, and safety of its research participants. It encourages any person acting in good faith to report suspected or actual wrongful conduct (whether arising from action or omission) associated with human subjects research.

Concerns may be reported to the IRBs by phone, email or written correspondence.

The Institutional Compliance office has a compliance hotline for research participants to ask questions, offer input, raise concerns or complaints about research, a research related injury, or any question about the rights of research participants

• A toll-free number you can call to report suspected wrongdoing, fraud, waste, abuse, and violations of any federal or state laws, or MD Anderson institutional policies.
• Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling 1-800-789-4448.
• All calls are confidential and you don't need to identify yourself.
• Reports all allegations to MD Anderson's Institutional Compliance Office.
