Antibody Based Proteomics
Peggy Sue Nanoimmunoassay
Capillary electrophoresis-based immunoassay. Separate proteins by molecular weight (size assay) or isoelectric point (charge assay). Provides greater sensitivity than MS and uses low sample volumes. An excellent option for antibody validation and resolution and quantitation of proteoforms / post-translational modifications.

MS-Based Proteomics, Targeted
New Assay Development
Need more sensitivity? Targeted analysis with triple quadrupole MS leverages faster scan speeds to achieve greater sensitivity, and the addition of stable isotope-labeled peptides as internal standards add quantitative rigor and reproducibility. A new assay for most proteins can be developed with 3 days of labor, which includes optimization of a range of parameters including extraction/recovery. Challenging biological matrices (e.g., stool) and/or challenging analytes often require more time.
