The ORION (Oncology Research and Immuno-mONitoring) core provides state-of-the-art immunoprofiling services including clinical trial immune monitoring, data analysis and technical consultation for assay design, as well as single service instrument use.

Available assays include soluble factor assessment (Luminex 200, MSD QuickPlex SQ120), detection of antigen-specific T cells (CTL ELISPOT analyzer) and 18 parameter, high-order flow cytometry of tumor tissue and/or PBMCs (BD Fortessa X20).We provide training on CTL ELISPOT analyzer and MSD QuickPlex SQ120 for non-assisted use so investigators may use them independently.

The ORION core also offers cost-effective and customized research support to MD Anderson and local investigators for experimental design and assay development.
