Cell lines were validated by STR DNA fingerprinting using the Promega 16 High Sensitivity STR Kit (Catalog # DC2100). The STR profiles were compared to online search databases (DSMZ/ATCC/JCRB/RIKEN) of approximately 2500 known profiles; along with the MD Anderson Cytogenetics and Cell Authentication Core (CCAC) database of approximately 2600 know profiles. The STR profiles matched known DNA fingerprints or were unique.

Please include in acknowledgement section of paper: "<Insert name of core service> was done by the Cytogenetics and Cell Authentication Core (CCAC) at MD Anderson Cancer Center."
