Collaboration
The University of Texas at MD Anderson Patient Mosaic™ leverages the strengths of our institution, including platforms and teams developed for current and past research efforts. More than 100 faculty and staff from across the institution's clinical and research departments, labs and cores make up the Patient Mosaic team, forging new pathways to accelerate the discovery timeline.
Each team operates in a unique role, from interacting with participants, collecting samples and information, analyzing samples, and analyzing the resulting data to organizing and aggregating the data in ways that enable data-driven research.
Interact with Participants
Teams involved in research participant interactions, consenting and collecting samples and surveys
Generate Data
Teams analyzing samples collected from participants and organizing and analyzing the resulting data
Support Advancement
Partnering with institutional groups to advance new therapeutics
Enable Research
Patient Mosaic is a project to learn from at least 10,000 patients with cancer who are receiving care at MD Anderson. With strength in uniformity and an unsurpassed combination of breadth and depth of information on every participant, this rich dataset enables MD Anderson research investigators to dive deeply, collaborate across disciplines and boost breakthrough research.
