Cattlemen for Cancer Research
Be a hero. Help end cancer.
In the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor, we invite you to join in the fight against cancer by supporting the Cattlemen for Cancer Research.
What is Cattlemen for Cancer Research?
Cattlemen for Cancer Research (CCR) was formed in 1999 by a group of Central Texans wanting to join in the fight in support of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's mission to end cancer. The funds raised by Cattlemen for Cancer Research support grant funding for scientists at the Michale E. Keeling Center for Comparative Medicine and Research, and also provide patient assistance for people from Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson counties who are seeking treatment at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The patient assistance fund helps with the cost of lodging, meals and similar services incurred while staying in Houston to receive care.
