Life in the Lab
The Watowich lab provides a highly collaborative and collegial atmosphere conducive to strong team science with a wealth of opportunities for individual growth. Lab members have the opportunity to learn cutting edge approaches to investigate fundamental problems in cancer immunology including immunological methods, protein biochemistry, flow cytometry and FACS isolation of hematopoietic/immune subsets, molecular cloning and molecular analyses, and mouse modeling of human immune diseases and cancers. Resources available to the lab include superb FACS/flow cytometry facilities, SPF animal housing, cell culture facilities, fluorescent and light microscopes, computational resources, and MD Anderson core facilities.
