Welcome to the Tobacco Health Equity and Cancer Prevention Science Laboratory! We are focused on better understanding how the social and environmental context affects people's cancer-related risk behaviors, with a focus on groups of people that disproportionately suffer poor health outcomes and an emphasis on tobacco dependence. Our lab works in partnership with community groups and organizations both locally and across the state. We respect and value the diversity of the communities and the trainees with whom we work.
