Dr. Tatsui's areas of expertise include surgery of spine tumors and primary and metastatic brain tumors and technologies to treat brain and spine tumors. His research focuses on new therapies for spine metastases, including the development of 3D culture models, the use of tumor treating fields and use of carbon fiber pedicle screws for spine stabilization. His research interests will also help advance the understanding of how tumors invade the spine and what mechanisms of spread might provide novel therapeutic targets.
