Interested educational candidates are invited to submit a current CV along with a personal statement to the lab manager. Open positions include the following:
- Graduate students currently enrolled at MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and seeking a permanent lab/thesis mentor
- Graduate students nearing completion of Ph.D. degree or recently awarded Ph.D. degree
- M.D. degree holders who have completed residency
- Ph.D. holders seeking post-doctoral training
We are currently looking for candidates at all levels who are interested in the following topics:
- Highly novel and mechanistically-driven tumor microenvironment studies
- Vascular structure, function, and trafficking
- Immune regulation, cross-talk and therapeutic targeting
- Extracellular vesicles
- Novel applications and functional mechanisms
- Translation to the clinic
- Chronic stress effects
- Tumor biology in the chronic stress setting
- Therapeutic interventions
- Neurological and immunological effects and therapies
In addition, we are open to motivated high school and undergraduate students interested in summer internships. Deadline for application to summer programs in our lab is March 1 of each year for the immediately following summer.
