The Women's Cancer Research Lab, also known as the Bast/Lu Laboratory and formerly as the Ovarian Cancer Research Lab, is part of MD Anderson's Department of Experimental Therapeutics and under the direction of Robert C. Bast, M.D., and Zhen Lu, M.D. The team focuses on the biology, detection, prevention, and treatment of epithelial ovarian and breast cancers.
