A postdoctoral fellow position is available for highly motivated candidates with a background in hematologic malignancy research, immunology, pathology, computational biology or tumor microenvironment research.
Projects will focus on understanding the interactions between lymphoma cells, macrophages, dendritic cells and other stromal cells in the tumor microenvironment of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL). Successful candidates will use state-of-the-art image mass cytometry to characterize the cell components in different stages of CTCL tissues and will define the complex cell components for tumor lesions (T3) and erythroderma lesions (T4). They will also characterize cell subset changes in CTCL tissues over treatment and find the differences in cell component changes between patients who respond to therapy and patients who are resistant to therapy.
A Ph.D. in cancer biology, immunology or an equivalent field is required. Applicants with a good publication record and research experiences with hematologic malignancy and computational biology are preferred. The salary will be based on the NIH postdoc salary scale.
