The Lin Laboratory has several lines of research. The first is to identify novel agents to combine with radiation to enhance treatment effects through the application of high-throughput screening methods. The second is identifying novel gene targets that could enhance the systemic immune response in combination with radiation therapy. Third, the lab is seeking ways through imaging or blood-based markers to assess response to treatment for lung and esophageal cancer patients.
