Join Our Lab

Our ethos
We welcome and value the variety of human experiences and the role they play in building a strong research group where all can grow and contribute. This also extends to fields of expertise as the most transformative work often sits at the intersection of very diverse skillsets. We have potential projects in need of life sciences, organic chemistry, materials science, physics and computational expertise.
- Research Assistants:
We are currently seeking to hire post-baccalaureates interested in an energetic and cutting-edge research program with opportunities to contribute significantly to major lab projects and gain rigorous experience in a wide-range of wet and dry lab approaches. - Graduate Students:
Graduate students should expect to take the lead on core lab projects while exploring new avenues of research and learning new techniques as they arise. We accept Ph.D. students through the MD Anderson UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences program. Students in the Immunology, Cancer Bio, and Quantitative Sciences sub-programs are encouraged to come rotate. - Postdoctoral Scholars:
We are seeking postdoctoral scholars to drive core projects in the lab. We are specifically looking for postdoctoral candidates with a background in mass spectrometry based proteomics to lead a project studying the role of proteases in the anti-tumor immune response. Please email Ken at KHHu@MDAnderson.org and include a personal statement explaining your background and how you envision being part of our research directions, a CV, and at least two references.
