Join Our Lab
Our laboratory always welcomes passionate and motivated graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and classified research personnel. Lab members will have opportunities to interact with a multidisciplinary team of basic scientists, physicians and physician scientists in various fields including cancer biology, carcinogenesis, prevention, oncoimmunology, genomics and immunogenomics.
Our lab is open to motivated and talented scientists and trainees to help us investigate various research vignettes in early cancer development (mostly lung) including cell progenitors in lung cancer evolution, the role of the gut and host microbiome in cancer pathogenesis, tumor-immune co-evolution, as well as precancer progression to frank malignancy. Trainees will also have the opportunity to contribute to multiple projects within the laboratory in a collaborative setting.
In addition, our laboratory provides many opportunities to develop scientific communication and writing skills, including manuscript writing, oral presentations and discussions of published reports in a journal club setting.
Interested candidates can directly contact the PI, Humam Kadara, or Ms. Norma Vasquez, Executive Assistant. Cheers!
