Our lab seeks to understand how antigen presentation, as well as other biological processes that modulate cell-cell interaction, is regulated in different cell types and altered along cancer development. This will contribute to our long-term goal to enhance the efficacy of cancer therapies, especially immunotherapy. To achieve this goal, we integrate various cutting-edge experimental and computational approaches in the areas of mouse models, functional genomics, single-cell/spatial multi-omics, machine learning, and mathematical modeling, among others.
Current research directions
- Context-dependent regulation of cancer antigen presentation
- Novel mechanisms of cell-cell interaction
- Dynamics of the anti-cancer immune response
