Welcome to the Gillison Laboratory. Our primary research focuses on the role of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in head and neck malignancies. The goals of our work are to understand the mechanisms of HPV interacted with oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs), identify biomarker of response and drug sensitivity and molecularly targeted agents, and translate laboratory discoveries into novel clinical trials.
Research
The Gillison Laboratory uses an integrative approach of genomics (including single cell technology) and proteomic analyses of human OSCCs, and an extensive collection of HPV positive OSCC cell lines, to advance the understanding of head and neck malignancies.
