Bisrat G Debeb, D.V.M., Ph.D.

Bisrat Debeb received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with high honors from Addis Ababa University in 1999. He completed his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in 2008 and joined Woodward’s lab, Department of Radiation Oncology, as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently, Dr. Debeb is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Translational Breast Cancer Research in the Department of Breast Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine.

Xiaoding Hu, M.D., Ph.D.

Xiaoding Hu obtained her M.D. degree from the Department of Clinical Medical Diagnostics of Changzhi Medical College in China in 2011 and received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Human Genetics, Fudan University in 2017. Dr Hu joined the Debeb Laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in 2018 and was promoted to an Instructor in 2022.

Emilly S Villodre, B.S., M.S., Ph.D.

Emilly Villodre received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil) in 2010, and her master’s degree (2012) and her Ph.D. degree (2016) in Cell and Molecular Biology at the UFRGS. Dr. Villodre joined the Debeb laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017.

Anh Nguyen obtained her B.A. in Biology at the Concordia College in 2021. She first joined Dr. Debeb laboratory as summer student in 2020 and started as a Research Technician in July 2021.
