The primary research focus of the Cho Laboratory has been the development of novel applications of metal-based nanostructures, such as gold nanoparticles (GNPs), for x-ray imaging and radiation therapy. Additionally, we have recently started developing a quantitative imaging technique for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). We have been working on both computational/theoretical and experimental aspects of the aforementioned research topics.
