The Chandra lab investigates three main areas of research: (1) probing the biology of and delineating the vulnerabilities of pediatric leukemias and brain tumors, (2) elucidating the mechanism of action of novel preclinical agents and combinations thereof for hematological malignancies and brain tumors and (3) defining roles for energy balance (diet and exercise) in improving pediatric cancer treatment and survivorship.
