Description of Research Study: The goal of this clinical research study is to learn more about the effects of different nicotine levels in cigarettes and electronic cigarettes (e-cigs).

Description of Research Study: The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if performing working memory training at home can increase your working memory capacity. Working memory is the ability to remember multiple items at the same time, which may have an impact on smoker's ability to quit.

Description of Research Study: The goal of this research study is to help smokers who want to quit smoking within the next 30 days, with the use of a smartphone-delivered therapy, combined with nicotine replacement therapy patches and counseling.
Project STAR

Population: Healthy smokers ages 18-65 who are interested in treatment that may change their smoking behavior
Description of Research Study: The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if the combination of the nicotine patch and nicotine lozenge is more effective at helping people to quit smoking, or reduce the amount they smoke than Chantix (varenicline). Researchers also want to learn if it is more effective to leave people on their original treatment even if they do not quit smoking, versus increasing their treatment dose or switching them to another treatment.

Population: Smokers (50 years and older) interested in changing smoking behavior and willing to receive a lung cancer screening test via a low dose CT scan
Description of Research Study: Participants will have a low dose CT scan for lung cancer, and will receive tobacco cessation counseling and medication.
