Orthopaedic Oncology Research
The Orthopaedic Oncology department has developed a premiere database and applied research program with the goal of improving survival rates and quality of life for our patients. Our orthopaedic surgery database contains records dating back to 1954, easily allowing clinical researchers to locate patients and benefits physicians by being able to find similar reference patients for clinical purposes.
Based on our orthopaedic database, our research team has designed and developed a unique application that can show patients accurate and effective visualized data to better understand their disease, surgeries and life after surgery using dynamic live data.
In addition, our faculty work with our research team on a variety of other projects to bring the latest technology and treatment to our patients as soon as it is available.
