We hope this site will provide you with important information regarding melanoma, including current treatment strategies, ongoing clinical trials and laboratory research. Our department seeks to develop better therapies for melanoma and other cancers by applying the latest findings in laboratory studies to the clinical setting.
The goals of the Melanoma Medical Oncology department include:
- Developing better treatments for patients with melanoma by the alignment of laboratory and clinical approaches.
- Providing outstanding care to patients with melanoma.
- Training the next generation of clinical scientists capable of translating novel concepts from the laboratory to the clinic. Visit Melanoma Oncology Fellowship Program for more details.
Through the identification of new principles from our melanoma studies, we also hope to contribute toward the development of new treatments for other kinds of cancers.
