Healthy living mantras
Using a mantra, or an inspirational quote or phrase, can help keep you on track when motivation dips or obstacles pop up.
Sticking with an exercise routine and eating a healthy diet isn’t always easy. At times, it can be difficult to stay motivated. But these healthy lifestyle choices are an important part of reducing your cancer risk.
Eating healthy and exercising will help you maintain a healthy weight. This can lower your risk for many cancers, including colon, breast and endometrial.
To truly reap the benefits of exercise, you should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise each week.
Using a mantra, or an inspirational quote or phrase, can help keep you on track when motivation dips or obstacles pop up. Mantras can help you keep going when a workout is tough or when you’re tempted to stray from your diet. They can bring you back to your main focus and remind you what your goals are.
The key to using mantras for motivation is to find one that works for you. Look for any quote or saying that resonates with you and reminds you what you’re working for.
