Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma Clinic
The Melanoma & Skin Center offers specialized treatment for patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphomas and other rare skin cancers. About 20% of all patients in the Care Center have cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, or CTCL, which is a type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. CTCL affects lymphocytes, which are cells that help the body fight off infection. In CTCL, cancerous lymphocytes accumulate in the skin and cause lesions or form tumors.
The CTCL Clinic provides multidisciplinary diagnosis, treatment and management for all forms of CTCL:
- Anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma
- Lymphomatoid papulosus
- Mycosis fungoides
- Parapsoriasis
- Primary cutaneous B cell lymphomas
- Primary cutaneous CD8+ T-cell lymphoma
- Pseudolymphoma
- Sézary syndrome
- Subcutaneous T-cell lymphoma
Treatment options include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, topical skin-directed therapy, phototherapy, targeted therapies and innovative new treatments being tested in clinical trials.
