Suspicion of Lymphoma Clinic
The Suspicion of Lymphoma Clinic provides a clear diagnosis to patients who may have lymphoma, a cancer of immune system cells called lymphocytes.
The clinic is led by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) including physician assistants and nurse practitioners. It is supported by MD Anderson physicians.
After an initial evaluation by an APP, patients may get imaging exams, biopsies or other tests. Results are reviewed by clinic APPs and doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating lymphoma, including hematologists, pathologists and radiologists.
If you get a lymphoma diagnosis, you can receive treatment from doctors in MD Anderson’s Lymphoma and Myeloma Center, where you will have access to advanced therapies and clinical trials. You can also choose to receive your care somewhere else.
Who should come to the clinic
The Suspicion of Lymphoma Clinic is open to new and existing MD Anderson patients.
Lymphoma symptoms vary from person to person. Most people with these symptoms do not have lymphoma. If you have symptoms, talk to your primary care doctor first.
To qualify for an appointment, you must have test results that show you may have lymphoma. These may include a physical examination by a physician, imaging exams, blood tests or biopsy results.
Making an appointment
To schedule an appointment, new patients can fill out our self-referral form or call 713-792-3510, option 1.
