Cancer Connection
Cancer Connection provides comfortable settings, with locations in the Main Building and Mays Clinic, for patients and caregivers to visit with cancer survivor and caregiver volunteers. Volunteers share hope, support, understanding and information about one-on-one support through the myCancerConnection program. Visitors also can enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks. The Mays Clinic location has a separate room for patients to rest and relax.

Kim's Place
Kim's Place provides a respite for adolescent and young adult patients and their guests, ages 15-30. Enjoy video games, a pool table, jukebox, computers with Internet access and free snacks.
Location: Main Building, Floor 2, in The Park, B2.4309
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5:15 p.m.

Art Space for Patients and Caregivers
The Art Space for Patients & Caregivers offers a calming space to rest and explore creativity.
With the help of volunteers and staff, artists and potential artists of all ages can create their own work of art individually or collaboratively with a group.
No experience is needed, and all supplies are provided.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
All art classes and activities are free.
At the Art Space, visitors can connect with others and enjoy seeing their creation on display.
Location: Main Building, Floor 2, near Elevator D and The Park. (B2.4314)
Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday (Closed on institutional holidays).
For those who cannot visit the Art Space while they’re on campus, employees may request art-to-go kits for patients and caregivers via Inpatient Amenities at 713-792-5646.
Libraries
Learning Center Libraries
The Learning Center is a free consumer health library with the latest information on cancer care, support, prevention and general health and wellness issues. Staff members provide skilled, personalized service to MD Anderson patients, caregivers and the public. Find out more about The Learning Center.
Observation Deck
This area provides a quiet environment for patients and visitors, with great views of the Texas Medical Center and downtown Houston. The observation deck features tables, sofas, desks with power outlets, vending machines, and a grand piano that is played by volunteers throughout the day.
Location: Main Building, Floor 24, near Elevator F (Take elevator F to Floor 22, then transfer to a dedicated elevator for Floor 24)
Hours: Daily, 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
