A Conversation With a Living Legend to honor Houston Astros’ Jim Crane

Sportscaster Jimmy Roberts to lead interview at dinner benefiting MD Anderson 

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will honor business entrepreneur and philanthropist Jim Crane, owner and chairman of the Houston Astros, at A Conversation With a Living Legend®, 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Hilton Americas. The program, to be held in the hotel’s Lanier Ballroom, includes an onstage interview with Crane led by NBC Sports’ Jimmy Roberts. 

Co-chairs Maureen and Jim Hackett are leading this year’s fundraising effort, with contributions totaling almost $1.8 million. Proceeds will support vital cancer research initiatives at MD Anderson.
