Events and Activities
Each year, MD Anderson offers a summer training program that provides aspiring physicians and scientists the chance to work alongside world-renowned faculty in state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities at the nation’s leading cancer center. The Division of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine proudly participates in this program, hosting students at various levels, including high school, college and medical school. Throughout the summer, students collaborate on
scientific posters with their faculty mentors. The program culminates with the Division's Education and Research Day, where students present their work from the program, share their accomplishments, and celebrate with mentors, family and friends. In the summer of 2024, 29 students completed the program and
presented their posters on Education and Research Day.
