CERTaIN at MD Anderson is a three-pronged research program comprising online lectures, a hands-on workshop and ongoing protocol development support for up to one year after completing the workshop.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a doctorate degree (MD, PhD or equivalent) in a health sciences discipline.
- Currently working or training at an academic institution or non-profit research organization as a clinical/postdoctoral fellow or junior faculty (Instructor, Assistant Professor) or Research Scientist.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Clinical and post-doctoral fellows will need to provide clear documentation or commitment to an academic or research career (letter from primary mentor).
- Identification of a mentor at home institution, or in close geographic proximity, who supports participation in training program and planned research. Mentor will be asked to provide a letter of support and commitment.
Application Process. Applicants should submit the following documents for consideration:
- Application form
- Curriculum vitae.
- Letter of intent documenting reasons for applying to the program, areas of interest, and career goals.
- Institutional letter of support from local mentor, stating feasibility of conducting proposed research.
- Summary of proposed CER project of interest in cancer with research question, rationale, specific aims, and proposed study design.
