At the School of Health Professions, Graduation Day not only marks the beginning of a new chapter for hundreds of hardworking students, it also delivers a glimpse into MD Anderson’s future workforce. That is why this milestone achievement is so important to our graduates, the School of Health Professions and MD Anderson.  

This year the School of Health Professions is excited to announce we will be able to host a face-to-face commencement ceremony at the Bayou City Events Center

Commencement will feature messages from MD Anderson and the School of Health Professions’ leadership, and we are honored to have MD Anderson Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Carin Hagberg, as the commencement speaker.

We are very proud of our 2024 graduates and look forward to celebrating with them and their families.

Day of Event Information

Doors to the ceremony rooms open at 4 p.m. for graduates and 4:45 p.m. for guests with tickets. Guest seating is not reserved and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

The Commencement livestream for those who are unable to attend the ceremony in person, will be broadcast on the School of Health Professions Facebook page.
