Educational Partnership Opportunities

For more than 25 years Continuing Professional Education (CPE) has worked with faculty, staff, and external educational partners to develop and implement premier educational programs.

Why? Because these ongoing efforts ultimately improve the quality of cancer patient care.

How? By strengthening the skills and knowledge of program participants — including physicians, other health care professionals and the public — in all aspects of cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, continuing care and rehabilitation.

The educational programs we create are tailored for audiences’ needs, faculty requests and important health quality issues. Our CPE programs include a wide variety of formats such as:

• Formal didactic program series
• Conferences and teleconferences
• Self-instructional modules
• Practicums/skill workshops
• Jointly sponsored programs with non-accredited organizations

CPE is honored to serve with MD Anderson faculty — whose clinical expertise and experience rank them as leaders in the oncology field — with our dedicated staff and with generous external educational partners.

Most educational programs are made possible because of collaborative efforts between MD Anderson faculty and commercial supporters. CPE staff meet with corporate representatives to share with them opportunities to support MD Anderson’s goal of providing the highest quality education for the public and for medical professionals.
