Objectives
Upon completion of this CT Registry Review, the learner should:
- Have an understanding of the clinical requirements for the CT Registry,
- Review and understand the content specifications for the CT Registry,
- Understand general patient care to include patient preparation, patient assessment, IV procedures, contrast agents, and radiation safety and dosimetry,
- Have an understanding of imaging procedures of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system to include sectional anatomy review, contrast media usage, and scanning procedures,
- Have an understanding of CT physics and instrumentation to include image processing, image display, image quality, and artifact recognition and reduction.
