Sprint for Life Registration
The 27th Annual Sprint for Life 5K Run/Walk will take place on May 4, 2024.
Ovarian Cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancers, according to the National Cancer Institute. Unfortunately, because there is no screening or early detection test available and ovarian cancer symptoms are subtle, only about 25% of ovarian cancer tumors are detected before they have progressed to an advanced stage. On Race Day, survivors, their families and friends, businesses and MD Anderson employees come together to achieve two goals: raise funds for research and increase awareness of ovarian cancer and its symptoms.
Registration categories and fees

| Ovarian Cancer Survivor 5K | This option is for ovarian cancer survivors who want to participate. Contact the Sprint for Life office to receive a complimentary registration for the first 100 survivors and caregiver. |

| Ovarian Cancer 5K Run/Walk | This option is for competitive runners and non-competitive runners/walkers. Time for non-competitive runners/walkers will not be recorded. |

| Sprint for Sprouts/Tot Trot | This option is for children 12 years old and under. Each will will be given a ribbon for participation. Time will not be recorded. |

| Sprinting in Spirit | This option is for those who cannot be present but would like to show support by participating virtually. You will be mailed a "Spirit" packet which includes a Sprint for Life t-shirt, pin, shoelaces and a race number. We will let others know you are Sprinting in Spirit by posting your name on our special "Spirit Board". |
