Michael Wang, M.D., trained in a basic science research lab at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for six years. His goal is to significantly contribute to curing mantle cell lymphoma and substantially impact B-cell lymphoma survival.
Our B-Cell Lymphoma Moon Shot™ aims to double the cure rate of B-cell lymphoma in the next 5-10 years using targeted therapies, immunotherapies and cellular therapies in concert with the application of robust preclinical models and molecular profiling.
Of all the programs in the lymphoma field, the goals of this Moon Shots Program™ are extremely ambitious, while at the same time feasible and realistic.
We're saving lives every day in the clinic, and we're improving the quality of life of our patients by using chemo-free agents and combinations.
After witnessing life and death in the clinic for 20 years, it's very hard not to be motivated to fight back with all we have at our fingertips to make B-cell lymphoma history.
We hope to double the cure rate of B-cell lymphoma from 30% to 60% in the next 5-10 years.
We want our patients and families affected by B-cell lymphoma to know that there's not a second of time (and sometimes in our dreams) that we're not working on finding a cure. We've become a factory to produce a cure.
