Gestational Trophoblastic Disease Symptoms
These symptoms may be caused by gestational trophoblastic disease or by other conditions.
GTD symptoms may include:
- Vaginal bleeding or discharge not related to your periods
- A larger-than-normal uterus while pregnant
- Pain or pressure in the pelvis
- Severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
- High blood pressure with headache and swollen hands and feet during early pregnancy
- Longer than normal and/or irregular vaginal bleeding after delivery or miscarriage
- Fatigue, dizziness, and an irregular heartbeat caused by anemia
- A positive pregnancy test long after delivery or miscarriage
These symptoms are not always signs of gestational trophoblastic disease. However, it is important to discuss any symptoms with a doctor, since they may signal other health problems.
