Retirees Association
Our goal is to help retirees stay connected and remain a part of MD Anderson by fostering a continued affiliation with MD Anderson’s mission.
About the Retirees Association
The Retirees Association was founded in 1993 and is comprised of men and women who retired from MD Anderson.
The association connects motivated former employees who want to remain active in the institution’s quest to eliminate cancer. Fellowship opportunities include regular social gatherings, outings and educational meetings for members. We support MD Anderson's Adopt-A-Family program and the Boot Walk.
Members meet for quarterly luncheons in March, June, September and December. Luncheons are at the expense of the member and include a guest speaker.
The Retirees Association is guided by a set of bylaws, which mandate annual dues of $15 per year.
Membership benefits include:
- Maxi Messenger, a quarterly newsletter
- Invitations to social events and outings
- Access to the Retiree Facebook page (closed group, open to active members)
