Dorothy Hudson Garden and LeRoy Melcher Jr. Memorial Fountain
Park benches are located in a pleasant outdoor area featuring the “Flame” sculpture and the Chrysalis Project, a butterfly habitat with signage and brochures.
Location: Front of Main Building, the Aquarium entrance.
Healthy Living Garden
Observe seasonal herbs and vegetables growing in this demonstration garden. Educational signage provides tips for healthy nutrition.
Location: West side of Duncan Building, near the oak trees.
Houston Endowment Inc. Park (The Park)
Patients and visitors can relax in The Park, a comfortable indoor setting with tropical palms and vibrant plantings.
Location: Main Building, Floor 2.
Tom Jean Moore Rose Garden
Volunteers cut, arrange and deliver roses from this fragrant rose garden to patient rooms on a seasonal basis.
Location: Outside the Main Building, near Garage 2.
The Prairie
Enjoy winding trails, trees, benches and birds. This setting features a 2-acre native prairie and wetland restoration, complete with educational signage.
Location: Near the Mays Clinic and Duncan Building.
Wortham Linear Park
Stroll along two blocks of landscaped parkway featuring a fountain and benches.
Location: In front of Mays Clinic.
