Most new patients who come to MD Anderson every year are treated in one of our specialized cancer care centers or clinics, which embody the multidisciplinary, team approach to cancer care that has become an MD Anderson trademark.
Cancer Care Centers
Your primary relationship will typically be with a multidisciplinary care center, where surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation therapists and other cancer specialists work together under one roof for truly multidisciplinary cancer treatment.
Specialty & Treatment Centers
Your care center team may refer you to a specialty or treatment center. These centers offer specific types of care, such as radiation treatment or pain management, or help patients with non-cancer medical issues, like heart conditions or diabetes.
