Getting Information on Your Mobile Device
MD Anderson appointment reminders
We replaced our system for outpatient appointment reminders, effective June 16, 2022. Before their next appointment, all patients will get a text message to enroll in the new system. These reminders share detailed information including the clinic location, provider and time of arrival.
When you get the enrollment message, opt in to continue getting text message reminders. If you don't opt in to get text messages, you will get email or phone reminders unless you opt out.
These detailed reminders are separate from MyChart notifications that remind you to log in to view appointment information. You can log in to update your MyChart preferences in Account Settings.
After we replace our existing system, we will look for ways to reduce duplication and improve your experience.
